Olathe East Live is a sketch comedy show modeled after Saturday Night Live. It includes original sketch comedy written by members of Acting Repertory Theatre  (A.R.T.), a musical guest, and a guest host. The guest host for the night is Ms. Erin Morley with musical guests East of Eden. We guarantee students and staff will get a huge kick out of this performance!

Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung.

Adapted from Tina Fey's hit 2004 film, Mean Girls was nominated for a staggering 12 Tony Awards.  This queen-bee show has joined the musical in-crowd with its fiercely hilarious script and pop-diva song list. So fetch!

For seven years a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This is the story of the Puffs... who just happened to be there too. A tale for anyone who has never been destined to save the world.

This clever and inventive play “never goes more than a minute without a laugh” (Nerdist) giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers “who are so lovable and relatable, you’ll leave the theater wishing they were in the stories all along” (Hollywood Life). Their “hilariously heartfelt!” (Metro) and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be.

Join us for our annual Dessert Revue presented by Musical Repertory Theatre, a unique cabaret style show that includes complimentary drinks and desserts. This year's revue, Hollywood to Broadway, features songs from musicals that were first movies and later adapted to the stage. Come enjoy featured hit numbers from shows like Footloose, Legally Blonde, Catch Me if You Can, Heathers, Bring It On, and more.
